Our final Spring meeting (11 May) will be a hybrid meeting, at the Cosmos Club and on Zoom

We will have a full slate of three talks. Join us to learn about the recent exploration of an enigmatic submarine province in the southern Ocean, exoplanets and how their atmospheric properties are revealed, and the rise of oxygen in the Earth’s atmosphere more than 2 Gy ago on the basis of new oxygen isotope studies. If you come to the Cosmos Club, please remember to bring your Covid vaccination card. It will be checked. Non-members are welcome! Our 6 April meeting will be virtual only

and feature a full slate of three talks. Join us to learn what paleomagnetic tools can tell us about the early Solar System, what zircon can tell us about environments on the early Earth, and using infrasound to characterize large volcanic eruptions. Zoom will open at 7:30 PM for you to socialize, and the meeting will begin at 8:00 PM. Talks will be 20 minutes with questions to follow.
